Dear Mr. Gala,

Our organization is composed of young volunteers who want to make a contribution to societal change even at ayoung age.  We believe that our age does not hinder us in helping solve society’s problems.  Instead, our youth is an asset that we can maximize since we have a lot of free time and energy to spend in helping others.

One of our activities next month is a medical mission that will benefit the poor children in remote areas in the country.  We are currently gathering a list of the poorest areas that are in dire need of medical services.  We have at handmedicines and several doctors who have volunteered their free services for the said activity.  However, the funds we have are not yet enough.  For this reason, we would like to solicit any financial help from you.
